The Registry says you do not exist. A game lets you prove it wrong.

POI: Proof of Identity is a short platformer that teaches what a name on a blockchain is by having you win one back. It is free, it runs in the browser, and the first players in will be the first neighbours in its town.
Most of us learn how identity works in crypto the expensive way. We copy an address nearly a hundred characters long and hope we did not miss one. We get a friendly message from "support" asking for our twelve words. We sign something we did not read. Nobody sat us down first, because nobody reads the manual. POI is an attempt to sit people down without a manual. It is a game: about twenty minutes, seven floors, playable on a phone or a computer at poi.cellula.id . You learn by doing the things, not by reading about them. You wake up as a number The game opens on a dark screen and one question: Who am I? A terminal answers for you. No record found. Instead of a name, the Registry gives you a number, the order you arrived in, and stamps it on a "HELLO, my name is" badge. You are No. 0047 now. The Registry is a tower, a bureaucracy with a loudspeaker and a dry sense of humour ("Reminder: your key is safe with us. That is why you cannot have it."), and your file is on the top floor. So you climb. It plays like the games you already know POI is a platformer in the old style: run, jump, land on things. The Registry's Clerks are filing cabinets with a monitor for a head; land on one and it folds and drops its rubber stamp, which you can pick up and throw at the next. You collect coins, find the big ones, slide under counters, bounce off springs. Lose your three hearts and the Registry "processes" you, and the floor starts again. It is tuned so that a casual player gets through: every floor is tested against a deliberately clumsy bot that has to reach the door. Floor 6: the punk's power, a chord that folds every Clerk nearby. A few things give it its own character: Your hero starts as an unpainted drawing. The Registry took your colours along with your name. Each floor you clear gives a part back, from the shoes up, until you are whole at the top. Ten heroes to play , from Blank (a hooded figure with a question mark for a face, free to everyone) to a courier, a miner, a…
